Abstract

|
The incidence and type of radiologic abnormalities of the chest were investigated in 82 patients with acute glomerulonephritis. The abnormalities had been noted in 79 of 82 patients(96%).
Cardiomegaly (56%), alteration of pulmonary vasculature (77%), pleural effusion (17%), pulmonary edema (22%) had been encountered most frequently.
From the above results, it is at least clear, that in certain cases of acute glomerulonephritis, radio-logical examination of chest may be helpful in establishing the diagnosis.
